SuMmEr TiMe

Seems like we head to my moms almost everyday to go swimming. Its not been too hot, but its getting there. I don't look forward to the 100's at all, so these 80's can stay as long as they want. Joseph loves to run and jump into the pool.....we just need to loose the life jacket!

He also like to walk under the water.

Poor joely is scared of the water, so he hasn't gotten in this year.....yet.

My Little Antonio

Here is my little Antonio. He just graduated from Las Plumas last night. We had a dinner in his honor and it was wonderful. I went over earlier in the day to help my aunt Raquel clean up and get everything ready for all of the company who were to come over. Just driving over to the house I got teary eyed. I couldn't believe how the time has gone by so fast. It doesn't seem that long ago when I would be over at the house babysitting. I was there almost every day. Antonio had gotten so used to me being there that when I had to leave, oh how he would cry. We lived right down the street, and when I would walk home, Antonio would be a the screen door crying for me to come back. And who could forget when Antonio was about 18 months old in the car with his mom. He was crying for some reason, and my mom and I happen to drive up right next to them. Antonio saw me and quickly stopped crying and started smiling. And now toady, he had graduated from high school. I have a special place in my heart for Antonio, and wish him the best in what he had ahead of him. Congratulations Tonio, Te amo mucho!!

Nerdy Basketball

I really don't want to post this pic, but I told Rae I would. Every Thursday night a bunch of us girls get together and play basketball at the church. We say its a nice break, so we can just be ourselves.....this night we weren't totally ourselves. We decided to dress up like nerds. We had fun being dorky, however I did have to take the suspenders off half way through the night.

He's 9 Today!!

I can't believe that Joseph is 9 years old today. Joseph makes our family laugh everyday. Always dancing, telling funny jokes, and making silly faces. By this time next year, he may be the same height as mom. As of now mom has about 5inches on him, but by the way this guys eats, for sure he will pass me up by the time hes 11. Joseph is very caring, and is always wanting to please you. We love you sweet-pea, Happy Birthday. Always has a funny face to share.

I can't believe how time flys by. The good old days, when we used to live in Mama's garage. Look at those skinny legs. This is Joseph a month old. He came one month early, but was a good 7lbs.

That Time Of Year Again!

Yep, its time to plant the huge garden over at the Townsend Ranch. Our family is helping out by adding these starts. In all we have 279....could of made it an even 280, but as you can see in this pic, little mr. Joely wanted to dump one out. Oh well, Im sure we have more than enough. We have: carrots, tomato, peas, watermelon, cantaloupe, crookneck yellow squash, regular green squash, eggplants, and cucumbers.
